Our Beliefs

We believe... Jesus Christ is "The way, the truth, and the life."  (John 14:6)

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to man by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:22)

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and all scripture is "God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness."  (1 John 1:9)

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the Father, and in His return to this earth.  

"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."  (Romans 10:9-10)

Our Values

Christ-Centered: Everything we do is anchored in the truth of Jesus' life, death and resurrection. 

Safe Space: Common Ground events are a safe space for women to come wrestle with their faith and find no judgement.  All women are welcome.

Local Church:  We champion the local church, encouraging all CGgirls to attend and serve the Lord through their local church.

Unity: We believe we can respect our differences and come together for the sake of unity. 

Outward Focus:  We believe God's love isn't just meant for the pews. We actively take God's love from the pews to the pavement by having an outreach spotlight at each of our events.
